The gwt4air project aims to bring the Java language and development tools to platforms that do not natively support Java through the Google Web Toolkit. Gwt4air supports Adobe AIR, Adobe Flex, Appcelerator Titanium Desktop and will add support for more platforms in the future.

This is definetly one of the best use of GWT i ve seen so faar. i guess even the guys who created GWT did not knew that GWT can be used in this way. 5 stars no doubt.

Absolutely mind blowing what this dude is doing with GWT. Now i can write Flex, AIR, GWT applications for the web and the desktop. Read write PDF, Excel or any format on the client, all that in Java using one same code. Amazing.
